January 12, 2009:
Applied Energy Systems, Inc. announces that it has signed an agreement to acquire the Semi-Gas® gas cabinet product line from Matheson Tri-Gas, Inc. The acquired product line will become part of the Applied Energy Systems’ organization and will operate as its own separate business unit focusing primarily on the semiconductor and related industries. SEPTEMBER 2007 - MARCH 2008:
Applied Energy Systems provided all of the gas cabinets and valve manifold boxes at the world class research facility, The Center for Nanoscale Systems, at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
FEBRUARY 2008:
Applied Energy Systems received a large order for ultra-high purity gas systems to assist with the third expansion at the TATA BP Solar plant in Bangalore, India.
JANUARY 2008:
Applied Energy Systems received a large order for ultra-high purity gas systems and process piping for EPV Solar in New Jersey.
JANUARY 2008:
Applied Energy Systems received a large order for the installation of high-purity piping and gas cabinets at Xunlight in Toledo, Ohio. Xunlight is building its first solar cell manufacturing plant.

AES shipped its first large equipment order to China. Bengbu Solar in Baoding will be manufacturing solar cells.
OCTOBER 2006:
AES was awarded the contract for ultra high purity gas panels and fully automatic gas cabinets for Harvard University's Center for Nanoscale Systems.
AUGUST 2006:
AES was awarded a large order for fully automatic gas cabinets and VMB's for MAXIM Semiconductor's San Antonio Facility.
JUNE 2006:
AES was announced as the successful bidder for Turner Construction Company/Harvard University's Laboratory for Integrated Science and Engineering Project. AES is to provide high purity manifolds, gas cabinets, and semi-automatic switchover manifolds for the cutting edge nanotechnology lab.
MAY 2006:
AES is awarded the contract for one, two, and three cylinder high purity fully automatic gas cabinets for the University of Toledo.
APRIL 2006:
AES received a second large order from TATA BP Solar India’s new solar cell manufacturing plant for gas cabinets and fully automated VMB’s in their new Bangalore Facility.
APRIL 2006:
AES is awarded the contract for all of the high purity gas cabinets and VMB's for the new Oak Ridge National Laboratory Nanotechnology Facility.
March 2006:
AES received the entire high purity gas system order for Argonne National Laboratory in Argonne, Illinois. The contract included fully automatic gas cabinets and valve manifold boxes, as well as the complete field installation of all the high purity gas lines including all analytical testing to assure line purity.
October 2005:
AES was awarded the contract for one, two, and three cylinder semi-automatic high purity gas cabinets, including installation, for the University of Maryland’s Kim Engineering Building, in College Park, Maryland
October 2005:
AES was awarded a second contract by the University of Louisville for a very large order of gas manifolds, high purity gas cabinets, Dewar switchover gas cabinets, and valve manifold boxes.
September 2005:
AES was awarded with the contract for semi-automatic gas cabinets and a customized 8 line mass flow controller manifold for the Materials Science and Nanotechnology Building at the University of Virginia.
May 2005:
AES received an order from Lehigh University for ultra high purity semi-automatic and fully automatic gas cabinets for their Center for Optical Technologies Sinclair Laboratory to facilitate a MOCVD system.
April 2005:
AES was pleased to accept the University of Wisconsin's award for ultra high purity fully automatic gas cabinets for their Madison Facility.
December 2005:
AES was awarded an order by the University of Delaware, including installation of high purity piping and manufacturing of ultra high purity fully automatic and semi-automatic gas cabinets for the University's Electrical and Computer Engineering Building, Evan’s Hall.
FIELD PROJECTS
DECEMBER 2007:
Applied Energy Systems received a contract for all of the high-purity gas piping, as well as vacuum pump forelines and exhaust lines, for the Maryland Nanotechnology Center at the University of Maryland.
March 2007:
AES was awarded the contract for gas systems and installation of high purity tubing for two MOCVD's at a major semiconductor manufacturer in St. Paul, Minnesota.
NOVEMBER 2006:
AES Field Service Division was awarded a contract for the installation of high purity tubing and ultra high purity coaxial lines for the United States Naval Research Laboratory in Washington, DC.
AUGUST 2006:
AES continues its relationship with the University of Louisville by earning a third contract for the installation of high purity gas lines in their Belknap Research Laboratory.
APRIL 2006:

MANUFACTURING
JUNE 2007:
Applied Energy Systems received a large on-going contract for the assembly and laser welding of surgical devices used for colon surgery.
FEBRUARY 2007:
Applied Energy Systems has brought on-line its third YAG laser for precision welding.
JANUARY 2007:
AES continues a multi-year long relationship with a neighboring branch of an international specialty chemicals company in which we provide a large number of cleaned, tested, and orbitally welded assemblies by certified technicians.
AUGUST 2006:
AES began a relationship with a major international supplier of medical implants and surgical instruments, providing them with assembly, laser welding, and quality inspection of their products.
FEBRUARY 2006:
AES is currently providing CERN Laboratories, in association with MIT, all of the precision welding and assembly services for the Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer satellite launch vehicle designed to investigate anti protons. The launch is scheduled for late 2007.
CUSTOM SYSTEMS
OCTOBER 2006:
University of Toledo presented AES with a second contract for a high purity customized gas manifold box and the installation of ultra high purity gas lines for their amorphous silicon deposition system.
SEPTEMBER 2006:
AES was awarded the contract by Bengbu Polar New Energy in China for a customized mass flow controller panel and a 3 cylinder semi automatic gas cabinet for Silane.
SEPTEMBER 2006:
AES was awarded by 3M the contact for a 24 MFC Mixing System. This was in addition to a standard two cylinder semi-automatic gas cabinets and various gas manifolds.
PHARMACEUTICAL
OCTOBER 2006:
AES Field Service Division was awarded a contact for the installation of a clean steam system for a New Jersey pharmaceutical company.
SEPTEMBER 2006:
AES Field Service Division was awarded a contract for a USP Water Loop Installation. This included all required information for proper system validation.
