Position Overview:
The objective of this position is to effectively plan and facilitate the company’s workflow to meet or exceed operational goals. The Technical Production Controller will identify and resolve operational issues as well as recommend tactical and strategic process improvements.
Responsibilities Include:
- Generate a production schedule to establish sequence and cycle time of each project
- Generate work orders in a timely manner
- Issue manufacturing documentation to production team
- Track work orders; manage work changes and cancellations
- Review work orders proactively to resolve potential manufacturing issues
- Maintain and update company databases on a real-time basis
- Serve as a liaison between engineering and manufacturing to resolve issues and recommend process improvements
- Interface with purchasing and inventory control to help resolve material discrepancies
- Meet or exceed shipping dates as per customer commitments
- Interface with customer service to update project status

Required Experience:
- High School degree required
- BA/BS technical degree or technical background is required
- 3-4 years’ experience in planning/scheduling/inventory for fast paced manufacturing environment making customized deliverables
- 3-4 years’ experience with MRP/ERP software systems
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
