Applied Energy Systems Highlights the Quality of Its Apex Precision Welding Solutions with Recent Customer Satisfaction Survey Findings

Survey Reveals High Marks for the Precision Welding Group in the Areas of Product & Service Quality, Service Value, and Manufacturing Capabilities

MALVERN, PA, JANUARY 31, 2018 — Applied Energy Systems (AES), provider of high and ultra high purity gas systems, services, and solutions – recently conducted a customer satisfaction survey for its Apex Precision Welding division which revealed high marks for the precision welding group in the areas of product and service quality, service value, and manufacturing capabilities. These responses underpin Apex Precision’s commitment to delivering purpose-driven welding solutions with repeatable quality, accuracy, and turnaround speed, and solidify its status as a preferred provider of comprehensive welding, marking, and QA services for mission-critical welded components.

Apex Precision Welding provides a uniquely broad range of services which includes laser welding, orbital welding, glovebox welding, manual metal arc welding, and laser marking, as well as metallurgical analysis and testing. The group specializes in complex and mission-critical components for semiconductor, sensor and analytics, and ultra high purity applications, and is ISO 13485 certified for the manufacture of welded implants and instrumentation for the area of general surgery and orthopedics. Apex Precision closely supports AES’ core gas delivery equipment business by performing the orbital welding of system components such as sensors, gauges, valves, regulators, transducers, and process piping.

In addition to product quality and service value, findings from the customer satisfaction survey show that Apex Precision Welding scored particularly high on its ability to handle quick turnaround requests. “We know that our welding customers are often dealing with tight prototype timelines, and we’ve developed processes to ensure we can respond to project requests with speed while still maintaining the repeatable weldment quality our customer’s applications demand,” said Jim Murphy, General Manager of Applied Energy Systems. “The Apex Precision team is comprised of some of the best welders in the industry, and it is exciting to see feedback confirming our customer’s satisfaction with the great work they do.”
